Young Stunts
Please to enjoy Kevin Inouye’s high-school age summer workshop in action movies do just that. Great trailer–I’d watch whatever movie this is… ~Prof. Jenn
Jenn’s Artist Table: UPDATED
UPDATED: I actually can’t go to the Con after all. Sorry folks: maybe next time.
—————-
I’ll actually be at Cutthroat Con for a few hours with an artist’s table this Saturday. If you have a book you want signed or want a print of any of my sketches, or want to pretend-fight around the table, please do come. ~Jenn
Haywire
Thanks to the nerds at Nerdist.com for showing this trailer (among others) today. What looks interesting to me is the star–she’s a MMA fighter for reals and looks like she has the build for it (remember Jeff Wills and I commenting on the Summer Glau/stuntwoman appearance thing?), as well as some interesting-looking MMA-ish style fights. One of my students recently asked me about the martial art-y style of most film fights lately, and I wonder if this is the direction that film fights will take. ~Jenn
Shakespeare in the Park
Check this lovely collection of clips from various outdoor summer Shakespeare festivals. Anyone seen any in Boulder so far? Any good stuff happening locally? ~Jenn
Speaking of video game fights…
Actually this is art adapted from a video game, but it’s one of my faves and it looks super-stylish, eh? ~Jenn
