King of Fighters Looks Terrible

September 8th, 2010 BONZUKO No comments

Thanks to stellar blog Kotaku for posting this “best of” King of Fighters. Some of the stupidest-looking magic effects and wire work I’ve ever seen. The battle scene at the end also culminates in…you guessed it: a sword throw. So bad it’s good? Let me know, lovely lurkers.  ~Jenn

Traceurs = Ninja

August 14th, 2010 BONZUKO No comments

Came across this article at APEX Movement’s website re: Parkour practitioners (traceurs) and how they interact with the environment. I appreciated the sentiment here, and was reminded how the ancient ninja of Japan would be thought of as sorcerers because of their extreme attention and at-one-ness with their surroundings.    ~Jenn
