Thanks to stellar blog Kotaku for posting this “best of” King of Fighters. Some of the stupidest-looking magic effects and wire work I’ve ever seen. The battle scene at the end also culminates in…you guessed it: a sword throw. So bad it’s good? Let me know, lovely lurkers. ~Jenn
Didn’t we find some Star Wars Yoga a while back? Anyway, this is with pictures, and they’re stunning. Excuse me, I have to go meditate in Collapsed AT-AT asana now… (thanks, i09!) ~Jenn
Thanks to stellar blog mental_floss’ Morning Cup o’ Links for this: 5 Most Ridiculous Martial Arts Movies. I haven’t seen any of these. Would you agree, lovely lurkers? What are your top 5? (I’d include Revenge of the Ninja and Last Dragon, myself.) ~Jenn
Thanks to fb stage combat friends Crossed Swords for posting this amusing article about a man who drew a wooden sword when threatened by robbers. ~Jenn
Came across this article at APEX Movement’s website re: Parkour practitioners (traceurs) and how they interact with the environment.
